Amy Adams in full Amy Lou Adams (born August 20 1974, Aviano Italy) American actress, especially noted for her critically-acclaimed portrayals of naive and charming characters. Adams is born in Italy where her father served as a soldier in the U.S. military and she grew up in Castle Rock Colorado as one of seven kids. In the mid-1990s, she began doing professional dance and performance at the Boulder Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. After moving to Minnesota, she took part in a documentary mock-up on beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous (1998). When she made her screen debut as a funny but dapper contestant she moved in Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh was picked up by Norma Shearer who was a famous actress and she signed an agreement to work with MGM during the 1940s. The next decade saw Leigh starred in a range of popular films such as Alfred Hitchcock Psycho (1960) or Living It Up (a Martin Lewis film from 1954).).
